Kristin and Alan started Arts+Labor circa 2004 as a two-person shop in a garage apartment and have since grown the company to a 10,000 square foot production studio with twenty+ employees and a body of work that has reached audiences around the world.
Having earned a degree in Studio Art at the University of Texas, Kristin began her career as a graphic designer for print and film. Her focus eventually turned to running the day to day business of Arts+Labor and Executive Producing such films as Outside Industry: The Story of SXSW, Saturday Morning Massacre, Black Metal, and Declaration. Kristin served as an Associate Producer on Hellion, which premiered at the 2014 Sundance Film Festival. In 2015, she worked as an Executive Producer on The Jones Family Will Make A Way and an Associate Producer on Sir Doug and the Genuine Texas Cosmic Groove. Both premiered at the 2015 SXSW Film Festival.
